An Aaron Sorkin screenplay depicting him as a sex crazed borderline autistic conniver and now a mob of angry Facebook users threaten to quit Facebook over privacy concerns. Poor Mark Zuckerberg.

The world youngest billionaire had to cancel his birthday bash in the Caribbean to pow wow with strategists as some of Facebook’s 400 million users band together in anger that- ohmyfucken god- changes to Facebook’s privacy platform mean that advertisers now know the molecular make up of your last bowel movement.

Users have gone and protested by- you guessed it, forming a Facebook group. Users are asked by the organizers of the Facebook group “quit facebook day” to sign up to leave show their solidarity by signing their twitter handle (did I mention that mine is @DavisFleetwood, follow me!) to the list of pledges.

Adding fuel to the shit storm, new details are emerging about the film THE SOCIAL NETWORK, with a screenplay by Aaron Sorkin that is currently in post production and set to hit theatre in October. According to the Hollywood version Zuckerberg is a ruthless untrustworthy sex maniac who created the code for what would become Facebook in the drunken mournful mania brought on by being dumped by a girlfriend who told him he would “go through life thinking that girls don’t like you because you’re a tech geek but that I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, that won’t be true. It’ll be because you’re an asshole.”

So surprise surprise, the genius 19 year old who created a website that has ballooned to 400 million users whose primary purpose is to stalk your high school prom date is a shitty boyfriend with self esteem problems?

As far as quitting Facebook goes, I am having a hard time getting it up for this one (sexual puns completely unintentional). I mean, we are boycotting Arizona, Facebook, big banks, genetically modified corn products and Fox News. Where has it gotten us? We are so busy speaking truth to power from the relative comfort of our macbooks when we should be in the streets, putting our bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, of the Military Industrial Complex and the Imperialist foreign policy of the United States of America.

Leave Facebook? Man I’m so old, I had to hire a high school kid to oversee my  transition from MySpace. Besides, my high school prom date just accepted my Facebook friend request and I don’t think she twitters (but if she does, follow me at @DavisFleetwood).  Private message to my high school prom date: can you break from your deadbeat husband and meet me for a private weekend? Cuz…. I’ll stop the world and melt with you.
